I am a San Francisco based artist working in gestural abstractions using sumi ink and plain air landscapes with oil.
Before becoming a full time artist I worked for years as a hotel interior designer in Hong Kong and Tokyo and travelled for projects throughout Asia. This experience influenced my interests and my taste.
My recent travels have been focused on Italy and France to observe the works of plain air masters and to collect antique frames.
